New: Teams & roles

Team management software for holiday homes

Roles, property access and reporting lines — built in

Most holiday-home businesses run on one shared login and a lot of trust. Doorloom Teams gives every person who touches your properties their own sign-in — the caretaker, the sales agent, the accountant, the co-host, the villa owner — with a role that decides what they can do, a property list that decides where, and a reporting line that decides whose work they see. You stop handing out your password, and nobody sees a guest who isn't theirs.

The difference

A holiday home is run by more people than the owner

The caretaker who opens the gate, the agent who answers WhatsApp at 11pm, the accountant who chases the balance, the villa owner who wants to know how last month went. Until now they all borrowed one login — yours — or stayed out of the system altogether.

Caretaker Sales agent Booking desk Accountant Co-host Villa owner Ops manager
8 roles
ready to assign — from Admin, who can do everything short of owning the account, to Owner, who sees the reports for their villa and nothing else
4 levels
of visibility — everything, my properties, my team's work or only my own — so an agent never scrolls past another agent's guests
0 shared passwords
Every member signs in with their own mobile number and OTP. Remove one person and only that person loses access
Ready-made roles

Pick the job. The permissions come with it

Each role is tuned for how a holiday-home business actually runs, not lifted from a hotel org chart. Seniority is built in: a role can only ever be handed out by someone ranked above it.

Admin
Your deputy. Runs everything — properties, prices, money and the team itself — without being the account holder
Manager
Day-to-day operations: listings, calendar, prices, bookings, quotes, payments and brand-wide reports. Can't touch brand settings or the team
Finance
Sees every booking and payment, sends payment links and records money received. Read-only on everything else
Executive
Senior sales. Creates and re-prices quotations and bookings across every property and shares white-label quotes
Co-host
The classic co-host, now a proper role: calendar, bookings and quotes on the properties you assign, seeing only their own rows
Supervisor
Leads a sales team. Works their own enquiries and sees everything the agents who report to them create
Agent
Front-line seller. Checks availability, sends priced quotes and payment links, sees only their own enquiries. Never changes a rate
Owner
For the villa owner you manage for: calendar, bookings and reports on their property, with guest names and numbers masked
Scoped by design

Everyone sees exactly what their job needs

Access is decided twice: which properties a person can touch, and whose work they can see. Both are yours to set, person by person.

  • Property by property
Assign the whole brand or a hand-picked list. Nobody gets a property you didn't name: an empty list means no access, not all access
  • A different role on a different villa
The same person can be Manager on the property they run and Co-host on the one they only help with
  • Four levels of visibility
Everything, their properties, their team's work, or only their own. Enquiry and booking lists filter themselves
  • Reporting lines that mean something
Point an agent at their supervisor and the supervisor automatically sees every enquiry and booking that agent creates, and everything their own reports create, all the way down
  • Leavers keep nothing, you keep everything
Suspend or remove a member and their access ends on their next click. Their past bookings stay visible to the chain above them
Beyond the defaults

Build the role that fits. Price it per person

When none of the eight fit — “a Manager, but this one may not block dates” — make your own. And when an agent sells at their own margin, show them their price, not yours.

  • Custom roles
Start from any built-in role, tick or untick permissions module by module, give it a name and a seniority. From then on it behaves like every other role
  • Guard rails you can't remove
Managing the team, editing brand settings and deleting a property never go into a custom role, and you can only grant what you hold yourself
  • A selling price per agent
Add 10% or Rs 500 a night to what Ravi sees, brand-wide or on one villa, for a campaign window or until you say stop. He quotes his price; your calendar keeps yours
  • Never leaks to the guest side
A markup changes what a member is shown, not what is stored. Your booking engine, OTA rates and saved quotations stay untouched
How it works

From “can you help out?” to their own login in a minute

1
Add them by mobile number
Name, mobile and a role. No invitation email, no password to set up — if they're new to Doorloom the account is created for them.
2
Choose properties and scope
All properties or a hand-picked list, with a different role on any property that needs one.
3
Set who reports to whom
Point each member at their lead. Visibility follows the tree, so nobody has to forward screenshots.
4
They sign in and get to work
Mobile number, OTP, and the Doorloom web app opens on exactly their properties and their rows.
Questions

Teams, answered

How does a team member join?
Add them from the Teams screen with their name and mobile number, pick a role and the properties they should see, and you're done. There's no invitation email or password to set up — they sign in with their mobile number and an OTP, the same way you do, and if they're new to Doorloom the account is created for them.
Do team members use the mobile app?
Team members work in the Doorloom web app, which is where the Teams screen lives. You as the account holder, and anyone on the Co-host role, keep using the mobile app exactly as before.
Can one person have different roles on different properties?
Yes. A membership carries one main role plus any per-property overrides — a Co-host across the brand who is the Manager on the villa they run, for example. Give a person no properties and they have no access; brand-wide access is something you switch on deliberately.
Can a villa owner see guest phone numbers?
No. The Owner role sees the calendar, bookings, payments and reports for their property, but guest names, phone numbers and email addresses are masked. It's built for the owner you manage a property for, not for a member of your staff.
None of the eight roles fit — can I make my own?
Yes. Start from any built-in role, tick or untick permissions module by module, give it a name and a seniority, and assign it like any other. Three things never go into a custom role — managing the team, editing brand settings and deleting a property — and you can only grant permissions you hold yourself.
What happens to the co-hosts I already have?
Nothing breaks. Every existing co-host keeps exactly the access they had; they simply appear on the Teams screen with the Co-host role, ready to be moved to a richer role whenever you want.
What is a per-member selling price?
A markup or discount that changes what one Agent or Co-host is shown as the price — 10% more brand-wide, or ₹500 less a night on one villa, optionally for a campaign window. It only changes what that member sees when they check availability, share a price or look at the calendar. Your stored rates, your booking engine and your OTA prices don't move.
